happy new decade/new year/ clean slate
except minus the clean slate part. this is because few people actually have the chance to have clean slate just because it's a new year.
i had a legitimate chance to have a clean slate and used it of course.
2004
i move from Riverton Utah to Marlborough MA.
now prior to moveing to mass i was the shyest person ever. i refused to open up to anyone and I'd say the least amount of words to get my point across in every situation.
so when my dad told me we were moving, i was ecstatic, which was contrary to his expectations.
i moved to mass and life was better having more friends, and everyone liked me. this was because i did what a lot of people do today, said what people wanted to hear. I would only say what would get me more liked, not express my true opinion.
i still do this today to some extent. and my new years resolution is to say what i mean and mean what i say. no bull shit.
simple yet elegant dont ya think?
